The Montgomerie championship course has 18 holes, plays to par 72 and measures 7,102 yards. Its design uses the natural setting and the site’s distinctive white rock formations, with water features and varied hole shapes creating strategic decisions through the round. The facility also includes the Wee Monty, a separate nine-hole par-three course designed for younger golfers, beginners and players seeking a shorter format. Together the two layouts provide 27 holes of golf at the club.
Club and practice facilities
The Royal Golf Club offers a golf academy, a golf and leisure shop, practice facilities and a clubhouse with dining options that include an international restaurant, pizzeria and café. The adjoining Royal Country Club adds a temperature-controlled outdoor pool, sports court, fitness studio and separate sauna and steam-room facilities.
