Dreamland Golf Resort: Championship Golf Near the Pyramids

Its proximity to the Giza Plateau gives the venue a recognisable Egyptian setting, while its landscaped fairways and resort facilities create a complete golf destination close to the capital.
Course at a glance
Design and playing character
The course has 18 holes and a par of 72. Karl Litten created the original design, before Irish architect David Jones led a redesign in 2010. From the championship tees, the published length is 7,205 yards, with five teeing options that allow the course to be played at different levels. Bentgrass fairways, sculpted bunkers and carefully maintained greens give the layout its character, while the hole sequence asks for a mixture of distance control and careful approach play.
Setting and club facilities
The course forms part of the Hilton Pyramids Golf resort environment, with hotel accommodation, a driving range, professional instruction and a pro shop close to the fairways. The resort setting makes it suitable for a dedicated golf break as well as a round included within a wider visit to the Giza area.
