Its location near the Hunting and Equestrian Club places it within easy reach of Kuwait City while retaining a landscaped setting for sport and recreation.
Course at a glance
Course design and playing character
The course began with a design by Peter Harradine and has since been reconfigured by IMG (International Management Group). The club currently describes the redesigned layout as a shorter par-67 course, a notable change from the older par-70 scorecard still reproduced on some golf directories. The 18-hole routing has been adjusted as part of the wider development of the property, and the club positions the new design as a challenge for golfers across a range of standards.
Club facilities and services
Sahara’s golf operation includes an academy with PGA professional tuition, a pro shop, practice facilities and online booking. The wider country club adds equestrian facilities, tennis and padel courts, food and beverage venues, and spaces for events and social gatherings. Visitor green fees are published for nine- and 18-hole rounds, with access to practice facilities, range balls, locker rooms and a shared golf cart included in the listed package.
