Royal Valley Golf Club: Championship Golf Beside Ancient Luxor
Royal Valley Golf Club brings a full championship course to Luxor, one of Egypt’s most historically significant destinations. Located on the Tiba Road, the club offers a striking contrast between the game’s modern landscape and the temples, monuments and heritage sites for which the city is known. Its setting makes a round here a distinctive addition to a stay in Upper Egypt.

Design and playing character
The course has 18 holes and plays to par 72. Designed by Arthur Davis, it opened around the turn of the millennium and is listed at up to 7,486 yards from the longest tees. Multiple tee options allow players to choose a suitable distance, while water hazards and a varied hole sequence add strategic interest. The layout offers a complete championship round rather than a short resort course.
Facilities and resort setting
The golf club lists a driving range and practice area, including putting, pitching and chipping greens and a practice bunker. Club facilities include a clubhouse, pro shop, restaurant and bar. Rental clubs, trolleys and electric carts are available, giving visiting golfers options if they are travelling without their own equipment.
