A path from Rabat to U.S. college golf

A steady progression from junior-college dominance to a Division I breakthrough.

Adam Bresnu is from Rabat, Morocco, and represents a generation of Arab golfers building experience in the United States while competing internationally for their home countries. His college career began at Odessa College in Texas, where he quickly established himself among the leading players in NJCAA Division I golf.

Across two seasons with the Odessa College Wranglers, Bresnu recorded nine victories and 30 top-10 finishes, according to Texas Tech Athletics. In 2024–25 he finished inside the top nine in all 14 events he played, won five tournaments and added five runner-up finishes. His scoring average of 69.525 was the only sub-70 mark in NJCAA Division I that season.

He moved to Texas Tech for the 2025–26 season and continued his progression in NCAA Division I. As a junior, he started in all 12 team events, recorded four top-five finishes and tied for the team’s lowest scoring average at 70.0 across 36 rounds. He was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and earned third-team All-America recognition from both Golfweek and the Golf Coaches Association of America.
